This is where you’ll find out about upcoming shows and events, as well as thoughts, ideas, and musings about art — and other things, too. And pictures. Don’t forget pictures.

Like the one to the left, for example. We think it perfectly captures the idea that art can find a home anywhere, whether it’s hanging on a professionally lit, bright-white gallery wall or simply hanging out on a rumpled bed. (Okay, we admit these paintings didn’t find their permanent home on the bed, but just look how comfortable our beloved Studio Cat is amidst all this glorious color!) After all, shouldn’t the images around you make you feel right at home? Of course, they can also make you think, ponder, smile, question, wonder, and feel inspired. But when a piece of art — whether it’s framed on a wall, decorating a mug, or gracing the front of a card — feels as good to you as your favorite slippers on a chilly day, you know you’ve found a perfect fit.
