Come See What’s Been Happening in the Studio!

It’s been a busy month – actually, a very busy year — in the studio for CheekyKiwi Creations. Lately, all creative energies have been dedicated to making new works for Marin Open Studios. And we’re ready! If you stop by (details below) between 11am and 6pm on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13, you’ll find brand new creations all over the walls, shelves, and tables of the studio.

For the past month we’ve been thinking outside the box – and even right off the canvas. CheekyKiwi has been having a blast putting saturated colors and whimsical images in unexpected places, including on antique wooden shoe forms and metal sap buckets from Canada. And what joy when we discovered a pile of abandoned bamboo towers, right in our backyard! Many of these new images lend themselves to different mediums, so we’ve got loads of new cards, too. And don’t forget our cheerful mugs, to help make your favorite beverage taste even better.

We hope you’ll stop by and say hello, enjoy some nibbles, and take a peek. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, there’s no better time to explore the surprising, inviting, colorful world of local art!
